Celebrating four years of success!

We are celebrating four years in business and as we reach this milestone, we decided to reflect how far our business has come with a new name and logo to match.

As a business, we have grown our expertise and developed a strong reputation by choosing to specialise in key fields of environmental consulting. To reflect our straightforward approach to business, we’ve simplified our name and logo. So, we’d like to introduce to you: OSM Environmental Consulting!

 

OSM Environmental Consulting was started in 2016, under the guise of O’Sullivan Macfarlane Environmental Consulting, bearing the names of its founders (and only staff members!), Micheál O’Sullivan and Frank Macfarlane. Micheál and Frank were previously colleagues and believed they could combine their regulatory and private consulting experience to create a competitive presence in environmental consulting.

OSM has grown significantly over the years, mentoring many placement, graduate and junior Environmental Scientists on their career journey. Our revamped website now hosts in an depth Team section, with profiles for each of the OSM team – check it out here!

We celebrated our fourth birthday in our office, with a cake custom made from Worth The Whisk Bakery in Warrenpoint. Much like OSM, it wouldn’t be complete without a drilling-rig!

 

This milestone allowed us to reflect over what we have been able to achieve in four years. We have built a fantastic, tight-knit team who work in close partnership with directors in all of our projects. Prior to starting OSM, we had witnessed client frustration from poor communication in consultancies, so we have prioritised making our team accessible to clients, which has the added benefit of enabling us to effectively tailor solutions to their sites’ needs.

We are proud to have secured work across the UK and Ireland on a huge range of projects, both public and private on all types of scales. These have seen us hiring local fishing boats to sample water sediments in Irish Sea, to assessing large scale public projects for government bodies. We love how each project we work on is completely unique, so every day of our four years in business has been completely different!
