A successful Noise Impact Assessment by OSM Environmental Consulting has led to planning approval for our client redeveloping an existing building into an elderly care facility.
Successful Assessment of Key Nature Reserve
Following a longstanding working relationship with the RSPB, OSM Environmental Consulting has completed an Assessment of Wetland Geomorphology on its Belfast Harbour site.
The site is known as Belfast Window on Wildlife and serves as the main attraction in the RSPB’s Belfast Lough Reserve. Following development around the Belfast Lough, preserving this site has been increasingly vital, as it provides a dedicated habitat for migrating birds, endangered sea life and even wild ponies.
For their assessment, OSM measured the extents and depth of the wetland habitat. This vital work allows the RSPB to plan future works in line with their goals of preserving these habitats for the endangered birds and animals that survive off the site’s unique geomorphic properties.
OSM were pleased to have undertaken this work for the RSPB and look forward to continuing our successful partnership with them.
